Francis Dugranrut

FRANCIS LEE "DUKE" DuGRANRUT, 83, died at 8:42 p.m. October 7, 2004, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton, Ohio. He was born May 8, 1921, in Richmond, Indiana, to Robert and Mary Plessinger DuGranrut, who preceded him in death. On October 30, 1942, he married Bettiejune Harter, who died June 21, 1995. Mr. DuGranrut had been a tool and die design engineer for Geiger Systems, Sheller Globe/Superior Coach and Wayne Works in Richmond, Indiana. He was a master wood craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie (Arol) Augsburger of Chicago and Kathryn (Thomas) Arnolf of Elida, Ohio; thee sons, Rick DuGranrut of Lima, Ohio, Peter (Diana) DuGranrut of Pickerington and Gregg (Cleo) DuGranrut of Lima, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Rev. Richard Sheffield will officiate.
