Gabriella Holmes

Gabriella Holmes, 67, died at 7:42 a.m. November 30, 2008, at Triumph Hospital, Lima, Ohio. She was born September 18, 1941, in McGuffey, Ohio, to Orville and Leora Allen Shepherd Fotta Wright, who preceded her in death. On May 8, 1999, she married Terry Holms, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Holmes was a homemaker. She was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1999. She loved collecting dolls, cooking during the Christmas season and being with her grandchildren. She was a very loving person. Survivors also include a son, Jerry Zunt, of Loudonville; a daughter, Rhonda Zunt, of Lima, Ohio; a stepson, Terry (Diane) Holmes Jr., of Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren, Krysta Prine, Ashley Stevenson, Joshua Holmes and Adam Stevenson; four sisters, Teresa Smith, of Dayton, Ohio, Millie Davis, of Cridersville, Ohio, Corina Wright, of California, and Darlene Mathews, of Baltimore; and close friends, Carla Good, of Lima, Ohio, and Tim Moore and Cathy Moore, both of Lakeview, Ohio. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Howard M. Allison will officiate. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
