Gail A. Carder

Gail Carder passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Gail was born on July 13, 1945, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Everett Reeves and Eileen (Reese) Prater. On June 18, 1970, she married Robert D. Carder, who preceded her in death on August 26, 2002.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Deb (Michael) Bright; her grandchildren: Jason Bright, Jenn (L.J.) Freed, Michael Carder, Liam Carder, and Zakry Carder; her precious great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Lydia, and Mason; and two special nieces and cousins whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Greg Carder.

Gail was the heart of her family, a gentle, loving soul whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved. Gail’s love will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unconditional love that will never be forgotten.

In honoring Gail’s wishes, no formal service will be held. Her family will gather privately at a later time to celebrate her life and the love she shared so freely.
