George C. Daniel

George C. Daniel went to Heaven at 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning, October 21, 2026. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on February 20, 1942, to Sam Lee and Rosa Magdalene Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Wanda (Wireman) Daniel, of 54 years. He was also preceded by a daughter, Delinda (Erik) Guzik; brothers: Clayborn, Alfrod, Doug, and Beushial; and sisters: Imogene, Alma, Aileen, Edna, and Viola.

George is survived by his two sons, Jack and Sean of Lima, OH; grandsons, Brett (Nancy) Daniel and Kyle (Jordan) Moore; granddaughters: Amber Daniel, Lindsey (Jacob) Drexler and Emily Daniel; great-grandchildren: Zoe, Jadyn, Kaiden, Landon, and Lucas.

George was an avid fan of Kentucky Wildcats, Ohio State, and Cleveland Browns. He liked to throw horseshoes, camp, and fish. He was a member of Cridersville Freewill Baptist Church.

His most endearing quality is that he never met a stranger or turned down a dessert.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McDonald Fairview Cemetery, Kenton, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rooted in Faith Fellowship or Compassus Hospice.
