Gladys Myers

Gladys “Jackie” Myers, 101, passed away at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Kessler Estates in Lima.

Gladys was born on Thursday, June 23, 1921 to the late Mabel (Dial) and Wilson B. Price Sr.  On October 15, 1940 she married Clarence W. Myers who preceded her in death on September 18, 1959. She then married Harold Lewis Myers on May 25, 1965 who preceded her in death on January 11, 1995.

“Jackie” worked at Timken Roller Bearing in Bucyrus.  She attended the First United Methodist Church in Bucyrus where she was also a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her kids and grandkids whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Michael) Sciranka of Lima; three stepchildren: Daniel Myers, Marcus Myers and Donna Lust; three grandchildren: Tamara (Eddie) Morrison, Tiffany (Brian) Veal and Scott (Cack) Sciranka; seven great-grandchildren: Christopher (Rachel) Baker, Justin (Mercades) Baker, Austin Morrison, Abby Morrison, Olivia Veal, Addison Veal and Logan Sciranka; and seven great-great-grandchildren: Ethan, Liam, Bella, Tatum, Abel, Wyatt and Willow.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jo Myers; two sisters; and six brothers.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.   The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Lori Reiber officiating.  Burial will be private in Oakwood Cemetery, 835 Kaler Ave. Bucyrus, Ohio, 44820.
