Greg Allen Carder

Greg Allen Carder, 52, passed away at 7:13 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s in Lima.  

Greg was born on December 30, 1972, in Lima, Ohio, to Robert and Gail (Reeves) Carder.  

Greg served in both the Navy and the Army, and was a member of Lima VFW Post #1270. He worked as a grill cook at McDonalds. He enjoyed playing games on the computer. 

He is survived by his mother; sons, Michael W. Carder, Liam R. Carder, and Zakry Carder; brother, Robert (Kelly) Carder, sister, Deb (Mike) Bright; several nieces and nephews; and fiancé, Jennifer Alkire. He was preceded in death by his father. 

There will be no public visitation or service.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Affairs.
