Gwen Kepner

GWEN "GWENIE" KEPNER, 76, died at 6:38 a.m. February 8, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born to John and Loretta Sonntag, who preceded her in death. In 1952, she married Jack Kepner. Mrs. Kepner was a lifelong resident of Lima. During her life, she worked at City Loan and Savings, The Lima Ordinance Depot and the Home Machine Co. She and her mother, Loretta Kieswetter-White, co-owned the Home Sewing Center in downtown Lima for many years. She retired in 1970. She is greatly missed by her granddaughter Loretta, her daughter Renee and her best friends Ginny, Connie, Dave, Ken, Sandy, Pat, Sue, Brent, Amber and Bill. Sophie, her dear little dog, misses her the most of all. Private services will be held later at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ian Fisher Memorial Foundation, 121 W. High St., Lima, OH, 45801. Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
