Jacqueline Switzer

Jacqueline Lee Switzer, 71, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at the Laurels of Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Jacque “Bug” Switzer was born on September 21, 1953, in Lima, Ohio to Jack Eugene Switzer and Wilhelmine Louise (Meyer) Switzer.

Jacque enjoyed shopping, mystery shopping, dinner dates and movies with friends. She used her devotion to Ohio State football and The Cleveland Browns to connect with friends and family. Jacque built a successful career at Grange Insurance, where her dedication and personable nature made her a trusted advisor to many.

She is survived by nephew Jack Switzer, Aunt Vonda Switzer and several cousins who will all cherish the memories of their kind and spirited relative.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Switzer; mother, Wilhelmine Switzer; brother, Steve Switzer; cousins Diana Sterling and Linda Switzer.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on May 24, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. Family friend Fritz Rhodes will lead a short service at 1:00 PM.
