James K. Sylvia

James K. Sylvia, 60, passed away at 12:23 a.m. on June 16, 2026, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

James was born on February 27, 2066, in Woburn, Massachusetts, to James Kenneth and Janice (Kaminsky) Sylvia.

James’ life revolved around the military. He spent 9 years in the military as a combat medic and marksman with the 82 Airborn Paratrooper’s. He loved his dogs, Ruth, Biggy, and Smalls. James also enjoyed fishing with his friends and riding 4 wheelers.

He is survived by his significant other, Dolly Smith; children, Jacob (Siera) Sylvia, Brittany Burns, Shane Warner, Jonny Ray Smith, Nathan Warner, Ryan Warner, and Elizabeht Warner; and a brother, Kenneth James (Stacey) Sylvia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services at this time, a Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial of ashes will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Family or to the VFW.
