Jeffry Allen Hartzler

Jeffry Allen Hartzler, 55, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at his home.

Jeff was born on February 5, 1971, in Lima, Ohio, to Jeffry and Nora (Busick) Hartzler. In 1998, he married Aletia Hartzler, who survives him.

Jeff was a Production Specialist in the Engineering Dept. of SumiRiko Ohio Inc. in Bluffton. His biggest passion was four-wheeling in West Virginia. He enjoyed running radio-controlled cars, bike riding, and was interested in cars, trucks, and anything with wheels. Jeff loved his family trips to Tennessee and then later to North Carolina. He especially loved spending time with Luca.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his parents; his children: Hannah (Alex) Lovins, Jeffry Hartzler Jr., and Alexis Hartzler; his much loved grandson, Luca; sister, Angie (Jamie) Rassman; nephew, Gaige (Kirsten) Rassman and their children, Rowe and Reece.

There will be no public services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude.
