Jill Ann Leichty-Murino, 57, passed away at 5:35 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

Jill was born on April 7, 1963, in Lima, Ohio, to Ronald and Pat (Page) Leichty.  In 1986 she married Steve Conaway and then on December 31, 2007, she married the love of her life, Ronald Murino who survives in Lima.

Jill was a homemaker with a big heart and was a wonderful mother.  She enjoyed many cruises and vacations with her family, as well as fishing with her dad.  She was a Beatles fan and a big Yankees Fan, going to many Spring trainings.  She lived for her grandchildren and going to their games and other events.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her son, Corey Conaway; daughter, Karmi Conaway; step-son, Andrew Murino; step-daughter, Jamie (Seth) Ellis, all of Lima; grandchildren, Madelyn and Lucy Burden; six step-grandchildren; brother, David Leichty of Yonkers, NY; sisters, Barb (Curly) Wireman and Sandy Leichty, both of Lima; favorite Aunts: Aunt Billie (Bill) Fansler; and Aunt Rose (Dick) Nees; nephew, Nick Sites; niece, Krista (Lee) Fromm; and great-niece, Kylee Fromm.  She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Chris Sites and cousin, Vicki Page.

A private family memorial service will be a later date at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima.  Tina Crish will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes or Allen County Humane Society.
