Joan Spahr Heil

JOAN BAUGHMAN SPAHR HEIL, 81, died at 5:54 p.m. October 9, 2006, at her residence. She was born September 8, 1925, in Lima, Ohio to John and Florence Allen Baughman, who preceded her in death. On October 25, 1944, she married Floyd B. Spahr, who died May 5, 1968. On January 14, 1987, she married Frederick L. Heil, who died September 24, 2003. Mrs. Heil retired as a bookkeeper from Lima Cement Products after 10 years. She was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church and its builder?s class. She was a member of the Victorian Society and Museum. Survivors include two sons, Steven J. (Deborah) Spahr of Lima, Ohio and Todd A. (Diane) Spahr of Indian Harbor Berdi, Florida; six grandchildren, Steven L. Spahr, Jennifer Neu, Sara Spahr, Casey Spahr, Kyle Spahr and Leslie Spahr; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler Spahr, Brandy Spahr, Hannah Neu and Carley Neu. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Easter; and a brother, Jack Baughman. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Edward Rinehart will officiate.
