John Gerard Hale

John Hale, 59, passed away peacefully at 5:48 p.m. on Friday, November 26,2021, at his residence.

John was born on February 7, 1962 in Lima, Ohio to Harry and Mary “Bertie” (Makley) Hale.

John worked as a medical assistant, and never knew a stranger. He was a very good man.

He is survived by a sister, Kathleen Hubbard; brothers Gary and Don Hale; and many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Szanto; a brother Joseph Hale; a brother-in-law David Hubbard, and a sister-in-law Vicki Hale.

A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Father Kent Kaufman will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donor’s choice.
