Jonathan J. Smith, 40, passed away on October 16, 2023, at his residence.

Jonathan was born on December 18, 1982, in Dayton, Ohio to James Irvin and Inez (Stidham) Smith.

Jonathan enjoyed playing video games and loved cheering everyone up. He always had a bright personality.

He is survived by his fiancé Sharlet R. Wireman; mother, Deborah K. Smith; biological mother, Frances J. Stidham; siblings, Teresa Smith, Candy Smith, Becky Brewer, Bonnie Thacker, Roger Smith, Lynn Smith, Michael Smith, Ricky Smith, Paul David Smith, Steven Stidham, Melissa Stidham, Billie Jean Sterns; and best friend Ty’lan Wireman.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Pam Vanschoyck, Darrel Smith, Sandra Bailey, and Ruth Keller.

A funeral service will begin at 4 p.m.  on October 21, 2023, at Full Gospel Temple of Love, Lima, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
