Joy Ann Nance

Joy Ann (Fisher) Nance, 62, was welcomed into heaven at 12:48 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 from Lima Memorial Hospital.

Joy was born September 17, 1959 in Lima , OH to Darlene (Stager) and William Fisher.  Joy married Victor Lee  Nance on May 14, 1980, with whom she welcomed two children:  Brandy Joy Nance born August 12, 1986, and Brandon Lee Nance born October 29, 1992.

Joy worked at Lima Memorial Hospital in Central Sterile Processing as a Certified Sterilization Technician with over 40 years of service.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, listening to the local band, Brother Believe, and meeting new people.  She was a life long lover of dogs and football.  She deeply loved her family and treasured spending time with her granddaughters.  She had a lively sense of humor, a true zest for life, was loved by all, and will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by sister, Melanie Kay (Fisher) Sheridan and brother, Michael Alan Fisher; three granddaughters: Chloe Nance, Lily Nance, and Kayleeiana Nance; niece, Courtney Knoedler; nephews, Matthew and Jonathan Sheridan; and many friends in Lima.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; son, Brandon; and daughter, Brandy.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home,  920  N. Cable Rd., Lima, OH.  The memorial service will begin at 8 p.m.
