Joyce Gessel

Joyce Gessel, 69, of Lima, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at her home. She was born on May 30, 1954, in Kentucky to the late Gay and Thelma {Spencer} Terry.

Joyce was a housekeeper and was an aide for home health. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Gessel; children: Calvin (Kevi) Fennell, Anthony Terry, and Mark Cole; stepchildren: Bruce (Tina) Gessel Jr., Danny Gessel, Sheri Sock, Mike Gessel, Robert Gessel, Steve Gessel, Cheryl (David) Hines, Vanessa Gessel, and 

Brent Gessel; numerous grandchildren; and sisters, Rebecca Terry and Alice Terry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Terry; and sisters: Galina Terry, Burdy Terry, and Betty Brooks.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m.
