June Ann Estes, 88, passed away at 10:34 p.m. on April 6, 2024, at The Springs of Lima.
June Ann was born on June 30, 1935, in Lima, Ohio, to Olin James and Margaret (Bowersock) Keel.
June Ann was a graduate of St. John’s High School in Lima, and then went to Marquette University. June Ann enjoyed golfing, bowling, skating, and playing tennis. June Ann loved her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her daughters, Toni (Josh) Miller, Desiree Wurst, Dawn (Ron) Boothby, and Meg Estes; grandchildren, Nicole (Gregg) Wilson, Ashley (Aaron) Lee, Angela Wurst, Mitchell (Jennifer) Wurst, Sean (Jenna) Lyle, Amy (Kris) Decker, D.J. Nutt, and Kaitlin Nutt; 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Austin James Nutt; a great-grandson, Drew Lyle; and a brother James (Kate) Keel.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, 13, 2024, at St. Johns Catholic Church. Father David Ross will officiate. Burial of ashes will be at a later date at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.
