Kelli Kay Hale, 64, passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Kelli was born on June 10, 1961, in Lima, Ohio, to James Hardin and Jacqueline (Miller) Mack.
Kelli was a graduate of Bath High School. She loved animals, her family and her grandkids. Kelli was also the face behind the “Squirty Worm” she absolutely loved being able to bring happiness and smiles to people that she encountered while behind the costume.
She is survived by her son, Chad (Ruth) Hale; grandchildren, Aiden Hale, Julianna Hale, Maylynn Hale, and Zachary Bunzey; and her mother, Jacqueline Mack.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hardin; and her cousin, Wendy Ketzenberger.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Rev. Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will follow at Bluelick Cemetery, Lima.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
