Kenneth J. Koogler

Kenneth Jay Koogler, 80, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Ken was born on December 22, 1945, in Port Jervis, NY, to James Alvin and Margret Alice (Hefner) Koogler. On December 29, 1963, he married the love of his life, Rosaline (Butcher) Koogler, who preceded him in death on December 4, 2020.

Ken had worked at Bluffton Stone Company for 15 plus years. He liked to hunt and fish, loved to cook, and enjoyed watching old John Wayne movies with his granddaughter, Kristal.

He is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Koogler, Kendra Erwin, and Kayla Koogler; son, Tony Miller; daughter-in-law, Jessica Cleveland; grandchildren: Matthew Cleveland, Kristal Erwin, and James Erwin; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lynn Koogler; son, Kevin Koogler; daughter-in-law, Vera Miller; grandson, Aiden Zimmerman; and brothers: Jimmy, Nelson, and Ross Koogler.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family towards funeral expenses.
