Lee Ganser, 59, passed away on October 15, 2025, at Lima Memorial Hospital. Lee was born on April 14, 1966, in Lima, Ohio, to David William and Shirley (Block) Ganser.
Lee was employed at Winget Construction Service. He was a “junk man” collector of all things and loved collecting guns. He also enjoyed fishing. Lee dearly loved his nieces & nephews and his great-nieces & nephews. His nickname was “Lee Dogg” because he was the great one. He also loved all of his fur babies.
He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Ganser, Milton (Cathie) Ganser, and David Ganser Jr.; sisters, Lori Kerby and Christine Dershem; many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Charlotte Ganser and Shirley Ganser; a sister-in-law, Laura Ganser; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Dershem and William West.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Franklin Perry will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
