Linda Capuchino

Mar 25, 1976 — Jul 18, 2026

Lima, Ohio

Linda Capuchino, age 50, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born on March 25, 1976, in Oceanside, CA, where she grew up and graduated high school.

While her life was far too short, the love she gave throughout those 50 years will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Above all else, Linda was a mother. Her children were her greatest love, her greatest joy, and the most important part of her life. She was endlessly proud of them and treasured every moment she was able to spend with them. Her love for her children was unconditional, unwavering, and something they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Although cancer took her from this world far too soon, it could never take away the love she created or the memory she leaves behind. Her children will forever carry her love with them in the lessons she taught them, the memories they shared, and the countless little pieces of her that live on through them.

Linda also had a heart that extended far beyond her own children. She played a very special role in helping to raise and care for her niece, Kristina Conrad, who was born with a congenital heart defect. She was there for her niece through the many challenges, appointments, hospital stays and countless moments in between.

She is survived by her children, Gavin Capuchino and Lily Capuchino; her sister, Brenda Conrad; and brother, James Conrad.

She is preceded in death by her niece, Kristina Conrad, her mother Beverly Conrad and Father Gary Conrad.

Her greatest legacy will not be measured in years, but in the people she loved, the lives she touched, and the family she helped hold together. She was a mother, sister, and aunt, and a source of strength to so many; but to her children, she was simply Mom, and she will always be their home. Rest peacefully Linda You gave so much of your love in your lifetime. May that love continue through your children and everyone whose lives you have touched.
