Linda L. Hamilton

Linda L. Hamilton, 79, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health System.

Linda was born on May 1, 1943 in Waynesfield, Ohio, to Guy Oscar and Mabel Ann (McGinnis) Kaufman.  On December 8, 1963 she married James Hamilton, who survives in Lima.

Linda retired from Superior Wholesale Distribution and had also worked at RG Dun Corp.  She attended Lima Baptist Temple.  Linda liked to read and watch tennis and football.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Scott (Elizabeth) Hamilton, Steven A. “Tony” (Christine) Hamilton and Michael (Lisa) Hamilton; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Darrell (Linda Sue) Kaufman and Russell (Karen) Kaufman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Barbara Frysinger, Marva Evers and Margret “Avis” Evers; brothers: Walter “Buzz” Kaufman, Frank “Frankie” Kaufman and Byron “Gene” Kaufman.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, October 10 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will begin at 12 noon on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the funeral home.  Rev. Gary Hohman will officiate.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
