Linda Skelly

Linda Sue Skelly , 70, died at 9:30 a.m. April 26, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1939, in Effingham, Illinois., to Earl and Beaulah Ware Miller, who preceded her in death. On September 5, 1958, in Spencerville, Ohio she married Robert Dean Skelly, who survives in Lima, OHio. Mrs. Skelly was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily. She and her husband enjoyed traveling. Survivors also include two daughters, Michelle (Doug) Moorman, of Longview, Texas, and Salena (Brian) Sunderhaus, of Vaughnsville, Ohio; two sisters, Dolores Carlen, of Oregon, Ohio, and Patricia (Bill) Stumbaugh, of Spencerville, Ohio, three grandchildren, Rachel Mrazek, Alexa Gossard and Katlyn Moorman; a great-grandchild Emily Mrazek; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Rominger. A private family service will be held at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Michael A. Phillips will officiate.
