LOUISE N. STRIFF KING, 87, died at 3:15 p.m. August 7, 2004, at her residence. She was born on July 21, 1917, in Lima, Ohio to the late Merle W. and Garnett O'Connor Striff, who preceded her in death. She married Carl E. King in Covington, Kentucky, in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. King was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Lima, Ohio. Mrs. King was a devoted wife and loving mother. Survivors include: four sons, Bud (Jeanne) King of Lima, Ohio, Ed (Doris) King of Kennelon, New Jersey, Larry King of Columbus, Ohio and Howard (Sandy) King of Port Ludlow, Washington; two daughters, Nancy (Dennis) Taylor of Sherman, Texas, and Mary Lou (James) Wright of Findlay, Ohio;a brother, William "Bud" Striff of Colorado; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Striff, Richard Striff, and Davey Striff. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeffrey A. Rollison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
