Luetta HURLESS

LUETTA D. HURLESS, 92, of Cedar Rapids, IA, formerly of Lima, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Linn Manor Care Center in Marion, IA. Mrs. Hurless was born February 11, 1911 in Delphos, Ohio to Rev. E. E. and Minerva (Swick) Stopher. On February 27, 1941, she married Carl Hurless who died June 27, 1963. Mrs. Hurless was retired from the Lima Seniot High Scool Cafeteria and Bonded Chemical. She loved to crochet and idolized her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Ann (Paul) Rehn of Marion, IA and three grandchildren, Mark Rehn of Valley Village, CA; Pamela (Todd) Gaster of Center Point, IA and Kimberly Rehn of Hiawatha, IA and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Megan and Faith Gaster. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Monday, January 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Janet Miller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
