Lynn Eugene Swallow

Heaven gained another angel as Lynn Eugene Swallow passed from this earth to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:40 p.m.  He was born on December 29, 1956, in Lima, to Marion and Janice (Cook) Swallow.  He married Kim (Boothby) Swallow on December 14, 2002.

Lynn grew up part of the Swallow Pop Company family, the grandson and great-grandson of the owners of the family business. He graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1975 and worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation until retirement 10 years ago. Since then, he has worked with County Electric in Ottawa, Ohio.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Kim; a sister, Rebecca (Carl) Binkley; a brother, William Swallow; three children; and 8 grandchildren, including Kylie and Kegan Swallow and Katie Delph.

Lynn was loved by so many as one of the nicest and most caring people you would ever meet. A special note of thanks goes to County Electric for all of their support during these difficult past few months.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 6p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the funeral home.  Pastor David VanBibber will officiate.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Audubon Society.
