Marjorie Lee Renner Bourne, 102, passed away at 8:08pm on July 15, 2026 at her home in Arizona.
She was born on November 24, 1923 in Sugar Creek Township, Putnam County, Ohio to Oscar and Jessie (Caskey) Renner, who both preceded her in death. Marjorie was raised on the Renner family farm near Gomer and graduated from Gomer High School. In 1945, she married Thomas Edward Bourne who preceded her in death (2009).
Tom and Margie moved to Arizona in 1959 and enjoyed traveling near and far, collecting keepsakes along the way. Margie worked as a supervisor at Motorola Corporation for many years until retiring with distinction in 1985. She enjoyed swimming, golf, and was an avid fan of all major sports. She loved the outdoors and was active in her local community.
Marjorie was preceded in death by brother, Orman (Margaret Jane) Renner; sister, Methel (Merlin) Benroth; sister, Mary (David) Humphreys; sister, Helen (Richard) Lewis; brother, John (Deloris) Renner; sister, Norma (Lewis) Martz; and brother, H. Dale (Carol) Renner. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday July 24, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima Ohio. A graveside service will follow shortly thereafter at Pike Run Cemetery in Gomer Ohio (on Sandy Point Road, just north of Old Lincoln Highway - US Route 30).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Welsh Community Museum in Gomer, Ohio, or your local Hospice provider.
