Marjorie L. (Stedcke) Hollinger,

89, died on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at St Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
She was born December 6, 1926 in Celina, Ohio to the late Leona Gladene Pifer and Ray Dillon Stedcke. She married Henry Hollinger on June 4, 1949 who preceded her in death.
She is survived by: three sons, Ross (Pam) Hollinger of Lima, OH, Bruce (Becky) Hollinger of Gainesville, GA and Mark (Kathy) Hollinger of Findlay, OH; eight grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Alan, Michael, Valerie, Mary, Aaron and Amanda and 14 great grandchildren.
Marge was a graduate of Ohio Northern University and taught Music and English in the Ada, Lima and Elida school systems. In June of 2013 she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Ohio Northern University for her continued loyalty and commitment to her alma mater.
She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She held offices in the local and district United Methodist Women, was a member of the Chancel Bell Ringers, a member of the Chancel Choir for over 50 years, director of Wesley Choir for 27 years, a lay delegate to church conference over 10 years, a Sunday School teacher, Chairman of services at Lima Convalescence Home, a Stephen Minister and served on various committees at Trinity. Marge also served communion to shut-ins and worked at Our Daily Bread soup kitchen for over 15 years.
Marge was a member of Lima Civic Chorus, the Lima Madrigal Singers, Symphony Chorus and a pianist at Trinity. She was a member of Arbutus, a literary club, since 1960, Church Women United, Ohio Northern University Women's Association and a board member of Friends of Music. Marge and Henry had traveled extensively in this country and abroad and they both had given programs on their trips and Marge gave many musical programs. Marge was blessed by her family and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima and from 10 AM til time of service on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima. Rev David Harris will officiate. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Lima.

Memorial contributions can be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church or to the Henry & Marjorie Hollinger scholarship fund at Ohio Northern University.
