Mary Krouskop

MARY MADGE KROUSKOP, 86, died at 4:30 p.m. September 19, 2004, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 14, 1918, in Cygnet, Ohio to Ervin E. and Blanche Curtis Kinney, who preceded her in death. On July 13, 1935, she married Ralph E. Krouskop, who died June 6, 1994. Mrs. Krouskop retired as a key punch operator from Westinghouse Electric Corp. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church. She was active in the community serving on several committees. She had also been a TB Seal worker, worked with the March of Dimes and was chairwoman for sidewalk construction in Fort Myers, Fla., where she wintered for 28 years. She had served as president of the Area PTA Exchange Group, the County Council of PTA and Perry PTA Founders Day. She was a graduate of Spencerville High School. Survivors include four sons, Paul E. (Beverly) Krouskop of Lima, Ohio, David L. (Judy) Krouskop of Monticello, Utah, and Phil G. Krouskop and Dale E. Krouskop, both of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kim Howard, Pamela Fuerst, Linda Wuebbenhorst, Jeff Krouskop, Jerri Montella and Joel Krouskop; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Steven Gregory Howard; a brother, Dale B. Kinney; and a sister, Leona Thompson. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Perry United Methodist Church. Pastor Kim Kiracofe will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
