Mary Jean McKernan,
78, of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Lima.
Born January 19, 1934 in Carey, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frank McKernan and the late Mary (Zahn) McKernan.
She was a homemaker. She loved reading and animals.
Surviving are sister, Maureen (Richard) Henderson of Findlay, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: a brother, Francis McKernan; a sister, Lois Fletcher.
There will be no visitation.
A graveside service for the burial of ashes will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Carey, Ohio on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.
