Melanie Alicea

Melanie Anne Alicea, 55, passed away on March 2, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Ritas Medical Center.

Melanie was born on June 18, 1970, in Lima, Ohio, to Jack and Carol Myers who preceded her in death. On April 22, 1998, she married George L. “Jorge” Alicea, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2002.

Melanie was a loving woman who absolutely loved her family. She loved to travel and take pictures of everything in sight. She was a member of the Elm Street Church of the Brethren. She retired from Philips.

She is survived by 3 Sons: George L. Alicea, Emmanuel Luis Alicea, and Hector Osorio all of Ocala, FL ; Sister: Lisa Cook, Brother: Steve (Tiffany) Myers, of Lima; 5 Nieces and Nephews: Brian (Michaela) Cook, Joshua Cook, Austin Myers, Alyssa Myers, and Kylee Myers of Lima; 3 great- nieces and nephews: Braden Cook, Alashah Cook, and Zaidyne Cook of

Lima.

She was preceded in death by Son: Luis Ray Alicea , Great-Nephew: Joshua Ian Cook, Mother: Carol Myers , and Father: Jack Myers.
