Pamela Kay Mathias

Pamela Kay Mathias, 61, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s. 

Pamela was born on February 14, 1964, in Lima, Ohio, to John S. Smith and Elwanda Irene (Rodenberger) Long. On July 15, 1992, she married Craig Mathias, who survives in Lima.

Pamela loved her kitties and is survived by Miggy, while Prince and Champ have preceded her. She absolutely loved being with her girls and kitties, and sometimes even her husband, Craig.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Sarah, Katie, Heather (Jeff, whom she adored), and Hillary; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Tiffany and Marissa; son, Chris; sister, Vickie Maybry; and brother, Michael Smith

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
