Patricia Ann McKinney

Patricia Ann McKinney, 89, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at her home in Lima.

Patricia was born on August 1, 1936, in Anderson, Indiana, to Dee LaVern and Ruth (Humfleet) Welsh. On June 14, 1954, she married her beloved, William Warner McKinney, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2012.

Patricia had worked at Elder Beerman-Leader Dept. Store. She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple and sang in their choir. She was also a member of Senior Citizens, Red Hat Society Club, and Eastern Star Trinity Chapter 16, and was a past matron of Eastern Star. She also was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and volunteered at Lima Memorial for several years.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Laura) McKinney, William (Robbin) McKinney, Tammy (Keith) Kahler, Paul (Lorie) McKinney, and Lori (Tim) Enyart; 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Snowball.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carmen Cooper and Suzie Duckworth.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Lima Baptist Temple. Pastor Gary Hohman will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Township Fire Department.
