PAUL E. MILLER, 78, died at 4:09 p.m. January 28, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born June 26, 1926, in Lima, Ohio, to Clyde L. and Corrine M. Wehrkamp Miller, who preceded him in death. On November 6, 1948, at St. John Catholic Church, he married Cecilia Hoehn, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Miller worked for Ohio Steel for 43 years. He retired in 1988 from Teledyne Ohio Steel Foundry. He was a metallurgist and was the supervisor of the chemistry lab. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where he frequently served as an usher. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1944 to 1946. Survivors also include a son, Mark (Connie) Miller of Grove City, Ohio; four daughters, Kathleen (Fred) Grimes of Waldorf, Maryland, Barbara (Bill) Wallace of Bedford, Texas, Janet (Larry) Bassett of Johnstown, and Paula (Matt) Dillon of Pataskala; and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Riley; a sister, Louise Norton; and a brother, Eugene Miller. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church. The Rev. William J. Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church.
