Richard A. Hadding

Richard Hadding, 67, passed away at 6:51 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.  Richard was born on November 24, 1954 in Lima, Ohio, to Sherman E. and Martha (Haviland) Hadding.

Richard was a retired driver for Miller Textile in Wapakoneta.  He was a member of the Eagles, a member of 55 & Older Softball Team, and an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his three sons: Nick (Courtney) Hadding, Ryan (Katrina) Hadding and Cody Hadding; fiancée, Marcia VanHorn; grandchildren: Brayden, Lily and Keegan; step-grandchildren, Aubri and MacKenzi; and sister, Kimberly Hadding.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m.
