Richard Marquart

Richard Marquart, 93, of Lima, passed away on December 16, 2024. He was born on March 6, 1931, in Bluffton to the late Albert and Emma {Smith} Marquart.

He married the love of his life, Donna {Clymer} and they were married for 60 years before her passing in 2009. He was a lifelong farmer and retired from the Bluffton Post Office. He was the valedictorian of his high school class and was an avid bowler, golfer, and enjoyed playing cards with his good friends.

He is survived by his children: Pamela Weihrauch, Dennis Marquart, and Jayme (Tod) Richards, grandchildren: Kasey Carter, Christopher (Tami) Weihrauch, and Troy Neff, great-grandchild: Taylor Weihrauch, great-great-grandchild: Eleanor Jean Prine, and sister Irene Green.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister: Treva (Wayne) Shafer.

Private family services were held. The burial was at Pleasant View Cemetery, Mt. Cory, Ohio.
