Ruth Marie LeBlanc

Ruth Marie LeBlanc, 87, passed away at 2:28 p.m. on September 19, 2025, at her residence.

Ruth was born on November 9, 1937, in Lima, Ohio, to Robert N. and Leona (Schneider) Keiffer. On July 18, 1959, she married Joseph Albert LeBlanc Jr., and they celebrated 50 years of marriage before he passed on August 14, 2009.

Ruth was an avid reader, loved baking treats, lawn work, camping with family and friends and traveling. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time on her patio watching the wildlife. Ruth was also an active member of St. Rose Church. She worked for the US Navy CT3, the Pentagon, and finally retired from Kmart.

She is survived by her children, Jeffery A. (Derek Morman) LeBlanc, Timothy J. (Tracy) LeBlanc, and Dr. Cynthia LeBlanc; grandchildren, Timothy LeBlanc II, Corey (Kristen) LeBlanc, and Jared LeBlanc, great grandchild, Sylvan Lang, siblings, Roberta Langmeyer, Marilyn S. Keiffer (Joe) Vinoski, and Jeanette Robison; brother in laws, Logan Nolan and John Irvin; sister in laws, Nancy Wade Keiffer, and Rachel Keiffer; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Irvin, Joan McCrea, Paul Keiffer, Robert “Sonny” Keiffer, Jr., Dolores (Robert) Whitacre, Mildred Nolan, Thomas Keiffer and Ronald Keiffer and brother in law, Ronald Langmeyer.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.
