Ruth Mauck

RUTH PHILLIPS MAUCK, 86, died at 10:43 p.m. March 31, 2005, at her residence. She was born November 3, 1918, in Sunshine, Kentucky, to John and Belle Bramblette Phillips, who preceded her in death. On May 24, 1947, she married Robert Lawrence Mauck Sr., who died March 7, 1998. Mrs. Mauck was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Unit 19. Survivors include a son, Robert (Arlene) Mauck Jr. of Lima, Ohio; three daughters, Tana (Paul) Nutter and Terri (Alan) Ley, both of Lima, Ohio, and Ronda (James Hayhurst) Watkins of Wapakoneta, Ohio; a sister, Margaret (John) Perkin of Fort Myers, Florida; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Mary Fitzpatrick of Lima, Ohio, Virginia Phillips of Fort Myers, Florida, and Freda Phillips of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Kennedy; six sisters; three brothers; and two sons-in-law, Bill Kennedy and Ted Watkins. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Father George Blasick will officiate. Burial will be Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 616 S.
