Ruth Willet

RUTH E. WILLET, 74, died at 7:03 p.m. February 9, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born May 20, 1930, in Lima to F. Eugene and Gustine Ford Ridenour, who preceded her in death. On November 19, 1949, she married Robert E. Willet, who survives in Elida, Ohio. Mrs. Willet was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She had been a Girl Scout leader. Survivors also include a son, Robert (Cindy) Willet of Union; two daughters, Cheryl (Dwight) Parson of Lima, Ohio and Kathy (James) Cotner of Whitehouse, Ohio; a brother, Marion Ridenour of Lima, Ohio; five grandchildren, Todd (Missy) Parson, Scott Parson, Joe Parson, Jim Cotner and Michelle Cotner. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Ridenour. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio. The Rev. William J. Rose will officiate. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Central Catholic High School Scholarship Fund.
