S. Schroeder

S. CATHERINE SCHROEDER,100, died at 9:40 a.m. September 10, 2004, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. She was born January 3, 1904, in Hardin County, Ohio to James Nelson and Mary Ellen Biederman McGinnis, who preceded her in death. On April 26, 1936, she married Richard A. Schroeder, who died October 14, 1957. Mrs. Schroeder was a homemaker and had worked at DWG Cigar Factory, Lima, Ohio. Survivors include a daughter, Judith Ellen Schroeder of Lima, Ohio; a stepson, Thomas R. (Doris) Schroeder of Lima, Ohio; two step grandchildren, Suzanne (David) Marke and Thomas (Beverly) Schroeder Jr.; eight step great-grandchildren; a nephew, Robert R. (Madge) Farsht of Lima, Ohio; and a niece, Madeline Farsht of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Charles Farsht; four sisters, Flossie M. (Charles) Farsht, Helen L. (Albert) Anderegg, Grace H. (Harold) Lytle and Elva M. (Frank) Francis; and three brothers, Robert H. (Ruth) McGinnis, Harold F. (Mary) McGinnis and James F. (Amy) McGinnis. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
