Sharon Rose Patterson

Sharon Rose Patterson, 84, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Shawnee Manor.

Sharon was born on December 22, 1940, in Lima, Ohio, to Francis and Lucinda Mary (Sheets) Patterson. On April 19, 1986, she married Daniel Atzinger, who preceded her in death on May 22, 2020.

Sharon was a dispatcher for Black & White Taxi for 35 years. She loved playing Bingo, loved coffee, watching Days of Our Lives, and HGTV. She was a very talented artist.

She is survived by her daughter, Joy (Danney) Trewyn; granddaughter, Michelle Futrell; grandson, Christopher Futrell; step-grandchildren: Heather, Danney, Amber, and Anthony; great-grandson, Dillion Spencer; and her beloved companion, Princess the Cat.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Cameron; sister Marcia Holmes; brother, Richard Patterson; and granddaughter-in-law, Kristina Conrad.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
