Sharon Yvette Pugh

Sharon Yvette Fisher-Pugh, 56, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at her home in Lima, Ohio. 

Sharon was born on October 24, 1967, in Lima, Ohio, to Eugene Childs and Pearlie Fisher.  She married Dwayne Pugh who preceded her in death on May 15, 2022.

Sharon was a Lima Senior High School graduate and a homemaker.  She enjoyed shopping and always made a fashion statement.  She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing, she was the life of the party.  She especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandbabies.

She is survived by her mother; children: Eric (LaShon) Fisher Sr., Garro Fisher, and David Johnson III; grandchildren: Tosheyonna Cowan-Fisher, E`mya Fisher, Mirakle Fisher, Eric Fisher Jr., AuBrania Fisher, Ameer Fisher, Jayceon Fisher, Luxx Fisher, Layla Woods, Aalyiah Johnson, and Karter Johnson; siblings: Tony Gunn, Michael Fisher, James Fisher, Marva Fisher, Trina Fisher, Alan Fisher, Greg (Maine) Johnson, Wanda G. Childs, Michael E. Childs, and Rodney (Tara) Childs Sr.; fiancé, Charlesworth George; stepmother, Netti Childs; and special friends, Yolanda Hooks and Shamone (Boogie) Mahone.

In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by grandmother, Lula Mae Fisher; and grandfather, Rev. Willie Fisher; and sister, Carol D. Childs.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.  Rev. Tommy Pitts will officiate.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
