Sharon Ann Swem

Sharon Ann Swem, 73, passed away at 1:52 pm on January 25, 2026, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Sharon was born on September 29, 1952, in Lima, Ohio, to Donald Edward and Donna Belle (Flanagan) Swem.

Sharon worked as a cook at the Huddle. She enjoyed watching Startrek, reading and playing computer games. She loved having game nights with her family.

She is survived by her son, Donald Swem; grandson, Nathan Swem; siblings, Gloria J. Joseph, Nina Sue Pugsley, Robert E. Swem, and Ronald (Anita) Swem; nieces and nephews, Gary, Brent (Kim), Mark (Michelle) & Michelle Joseph, Lisa (Rod), Leslie (Mike), Melissa, Randall (Barbara) & Michael Martin, John & Michael Swem, Shawn (Ashley), Andrew (Faith), Zachary & Paityn Swem; and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gary Joseph and a niece, Megan Swem.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donor’s Choice.
