Shirley Jacomet

Shirley A. Dankirt-Jacomet, 89, passed away at 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Wapak Manor Nursing Home.

Shirley was born on October 22, 1936, in Lima, Ohio, to Carl and Daisy (Rader) Jennings.

Shirley enjoyed reading, listening to the Gaithers, playing with her animals, and watching soaps. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Melissa) Dankirt and Cindy Lewis; granddaughters, Holly (Tim) Sargent and Stephanie (Ashley) Maag; great-grandchildren, Deanna Rumpf, Alijah Rumpf and Eric Rumpf.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and first husband, Harold Dankirt.

There will be no public services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society.
