Shirley Sciranka

It is with heavy hearts that we announce, Shirley Anne Myers, 84, of Lima, was called to her Heavenly Home on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11:20PM in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born on July 17,1941 in Bucyrus, OH, to the late Gladys (Jackie) Price Myers, Clarence W. Myers, and stepfather, Harold Lewis Myers, who preceded her in death. On July 26, 1972, she married the love of her life, Michael J. Sciranka, who survives her in Lima.

She is survived by her children, Tamara (Edward) Morrison of Lima, Tiffany J. Veal (Brian) of Cumming, GA, Scott M. Sciranka (Cack) of Cumming, GA; seven grandchildren: Christopher (Rachel) Baker, Justin (Mercades) Baker, Austin Morrison, Abigail (Ryan) Kalb, Olivia Veal, Addison Veal, and Logan Sciranka; and seven great grandchildren: Ethan, Liam, Bella, Tatum, Abel, Wyatt and Willow.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Jo Myers.

The family would like to thank the devoted caregivers whose compassion, patience, and kindness brought comfort to her every day.

The family will receive family and friends from 11AM – 1PM on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1PM with Chaplin Mark Lovely, Sr. Chaplin and Bereavement Coordinator, officiating. Burial service will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, 2001 Spencerville Road, Lima, Ohio 45805.
