Shirley Smith

Shirley Smith, 76, passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Delaware, OH.

Shirley was born on October 13, 1944, in Vortex, KY, to Trulan and Josie (Hatton) Harris.  On February 14, 1976 she married James Smith who preceded her in death.

Shirley attended Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon, OH.  She was a tremendous gardener having worked as a horticulturalist at a greenhouse.  She also loved animals.

She is survived by her daughter, Josie Belton of Delaware, OH and grandchildren, Jordan and Jillian Belton.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Robinson and brothers: Ernie, Delmar, and Joe Harris.

There will be no public visitation or service.
