Stephen Foster

Stephen Foster, 82, passed away at 8:55 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Shawnee Manor.

Stephen was born on February 28, 1943, in Summerville, GA, to James and Nola Bee (McCluskey) Foster. On June 29, 1996, he married Carolyn S. (James) Foster, who survives in Lima.

Stephen attended Sidney High School and was a blocker at Ford Motor Co., retiring after 39 years with them. He loved to golf, and the lottery was one of his favorite things to do. He often frequented Daley’s Discount Groceries.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Clintin Foster; step-children: Bridget Ricker, Jeff Ricker, Ben (Nicole) Ricker, and Channie (Anthony) Mikesell; grandchildren: Jasmine Foster, Jaxon Foster, Jai Foster, Isaiah Foster, and Roman Foster; step-grandchildren: Kelsey (Matthew) Ricker, Jordan (Heather) Mikesell, Payton (Dalanie) Mikesell, Griffen (Jenna) Mikesell, Espn Mikesell, and Woodson (Hailee) Mikesell; nephews: Keith, Kendall, Kelly and Kevin; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Jean Lee; and brother-in-law, Frank Lee.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.
