Teresa M Clement

Teresa Clement, 97, passed away at 7:12 a.m. on December 13, 2022, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Teresa was born on October 3, 1925 in Lima, Ohio to Nicola and Mary Rose (Faga) Santaguida. On August 16, 1947 she married Carl A. Clement who preceded her in death.

Teresa was a 1943 graduate of St. Johns High School, and a member of the Senior Citizens Center where she enjoyed swimming and senior fitness. She also liked line dancing, gardening, sewing and reading recipes. Teresa was a good cook that liked to try new recipes. She also enjoyed being surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her children, Connie (Michael) Skinner, Mary Clement, Joe (Raydelle) Clement, Max (Vickie Kahle) Clement, and Nicole (Michael) Roth; and grandchildren, Elizabeth (George) Quaweay, Ben (Kelley) Skinner, Brandon Carl Clement, Avery Ann Clement, Ethan Andrew (Emily) Clement, and Jared Michael Roth.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Clement; and brothers, Frank Santaguida, James Santaguida, Joe Santaguida, and Tony Santaguida.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. A wake service will follow the visitation at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Father Kent Kaufman will officiate.  Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lima Rescue Home, or Salvation Army.
