Thelma R. Moon

Thelma Moon, 81, of Lima, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 3036 at her home. She was born on July 23, 1944 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Francis and Loris Parsons.

On February 10, 1962, she married Jerry Lee Moon, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Evelyn Parsons, Maxine Bethel, Paul Parsons, Donald Parsons, June Parsons, Clara Youtsey, Jim Parsons, Lois Pease, LeRoy Parsons, Francis Parsons Jr., Ronald Parsons, and Marion Parsons.

She is survived by her sons: Jeffrey (Karen) Moon, DuPrie (Karen) Moon, and Hewart (Shannon) Moon; grandchildren: Aleisha Moon, Morgan Moon, DuPrie Moon II, Darien Moon, Madaline Moon, Austin Moon, and Brittany Moon; and four great-grandchildren.

Thelma enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends and volunteering at her church.

Per her wishes, no public services will be held. She will be buried at Dayton National Cemetery alongside her husband.
