Thomas H. McKinney

Thomas H.  McKinney, age 78, passed away at 4:28 p.m. on Wednesday July 3, 2019, at his home.

Thomas was born on November 14, 1940, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Harold & Florence (Lance) McKinney.  On April 19, 1959, he married Deloris “Faye” (Mull) McKinney, who preceded him in death.

Thomas was self employed at Electro-Switch.  He was a Life Member of the Elks and the Eagles #370, and a member of the Goldwing Club.  He was also a huge hobbyist.

He is survived by his two sons: Timothy (Mary) McKinney of Lima, Jon McKinney of Celina, daughter Traci (Mike) Richards of Celina, eight grandchildren: Jennifer (Eric) Music, Abby McKinney (Martez), Jaimi McKinney, Kyle McKinney, Kain McKinney, Staci (Clyde) White, Cody (Melissa) Moyler, Chelsea (Adam) Fletcher, fourteen great-grandchildren, and close friend Linda Bradshaw.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Bill McKinney, James McKinney and Jon McKinney, three sisters: Margaret Edwards, Iris Hennessy and Mary Lou McDonald

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.   A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, OH.
